Hi! Thank you for dropping in!
My name is Melyssa and I'd like to share a little bit about me and my personal Yoga journey.
I started practicing Yoga while living in sunny Southern California over 20 years ago and quickly fell in love with the practice. During my Yoga journey I was busy juggling being a Mom to a wonderful son, while also being a full time Pediatric Occupational Therapist and PRN Nurse. After moving to Ohio many years later, I added Yoga Instructor to my list and could not be happier OR more balanced!
As a Yoga instructor and therapist I believe in treating each person individually and holistically through teaching a variety of styles which include Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga.
My Yoga teachings even extend to children!
In my adult classes I combine creatively, flexibility and balance in order to nurture your mind, body and soul through your own personal Yoga journey.
If seeking to focus on improving your overall flexibility I am able to provide assisted PNF stretching in order to met your goals!
Remember this is your practice, your journey ✌️

What is PNF?
It is defined as
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Stretching
PNF involves the stretching and contracting of a targeted muscle group.
It helps with increasing flexibility, range of motion and strength and this is why it is great as a counterpart to Yoga!
